Specialities

Advanced gastroenterology procedures, performed in-house.

Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across the full digestive system, including specialized capabilities that few centers in Gujarat offer.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy

A thin flexible scope allows us to examine the food pipe, stomach, and upper small intestine. Used for acidity, swallowing problems, ulcers, suspected bleeding, and many other concerns. Performed under sedation for comfort.

  • High-definition imaging
  • Sedation-based, painless
  • Same-day reporting
  • Biopsy and tissue sampling when needed

Colonoscopy and Polyp Removal

Examination of the large intestine using a flexible scope. Recommended for unexplained bleeding, chronic diarrhea, family history of colon cancer, or routine screening after age 45.

  • Polyp removal in the same sitting
  • Cancer screening
  • Performed under sedation
  • Detailed pictorial report

ERCP

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography

A specialized endoscopic procedure to access and treat conditions of the bile duct and pancreatic duct. Used for stones, strictures, and to place stents when needed. Replaces many surgeries.

  • Avoids open surgery in most cases
  • Stone removal
  • Stent placement when needed
  • Performed by senior endoscopist

EUS

Endoscopic Ultrasound

Combines endoscopy with ultrasound to image organs adjacent to the digestive tract. Particularly valuable for pancreatic evaluation, lymph node sampling, and staging certain cancers.

  • Fine needle sampling
  • Pancreatic and biliary imaging
  • Cancer staging
  • Cyst drainage when indicated

POEM

Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy

A third-space endoscopy procedure for achalasia cardia and similar motility disorders. Performed entirely through the mouth, no external incision. The food pipe muscle is precisely cut to restore swallowing.

  • No skin incision
  • Same-day or next-day discharge
  • Highly effective for achalasia
  • Long-term swallowing improvement

Third Space Endoscopy (ESD, EFTR, STER)

Includes ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection), EFTR (Endoscopic Full-Thickness Resection), and STER (Submucosal Tunneling Endoscopic Resection). Replaces many surgical procedures for early cancers and submucosal tumors.

  • Early cancer removal
  • Tumor resection without surgery
  • Preserves organ function
  • Performed by trained endoscopist

Fibroscan Liver Assessment

A painless ultrasound-based test to measure liver stiffness (fibrosis) and fat content (steatosis). Replaces many liver biopsies. Used for fatty liver, hepatitis, and post-treatment monitoring.

  • No needles, no pain
  • 10-minute test
  • Same-day results
  • Tracks liver health over time

Spyglass Direct Cholangioscopy

A miniature scope passed through the working channel of an ERCP scope to directly visualize the inside of the bile duct. Used for difficult stones, suspicious strictures, and targeted biopsies.

  • Direct bile duct visualization
  • Laser stone fragmentation
  • Targeted biopsy of strictures
  • Replaces exploratory surgery
